Stranger Things’ Millie Bobby Brown has a future in hip-hop
Should her acting career not work out—which seems unlikely, particularly given Stranger Things’ recent renewal at Netflix—Millie Bobby Brown, who plays Eleven on the ’80s throwback sci-fi series, has a future ahead of her in hip-hop. Apparently, her skills go far beyond than staring at people really intensely, as she proved when she and the rest of her young co-stars made a typically silly visit to The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon last night:
That, of course, is Nicki Minaj’s famous verse from Kanye West’s “Monster,” which even West himself has admitted was fucking awesome. And speaking of swear words, notice that Brown declines to use them when re-creating the verse, even though the fact that she knows it means that she’s probably seen the song’s very dark music video as well—which could be considered inappropriate for a 12-year-old, except for the fact that she fights monsters as part of her day job, so she can handle it.
Now all we need is for Brown to duet on the verse with Adele.
