Though Roll The Tanks features former members of Piebald and Mighty Mighty Bosstones, the band isn’t exactly a carbon copy of either of those acts. Rather, the group is more of a straight-up rock act, albeit one with some fairly punk-influenced vocals. The group’s new record, Broke Til Midnight, was inspired by all the times the blue-collar group hung out together in a bar, waiting until midnight when their paychecks would clear and they could order more drinks. Out May 19 on Epitaph, Broke Til Midnight is streaming now in its entirety below exclusively for A.V. Club readers. Crack a beer (or a cup of coffee), hit play, and proceed to rock.
