Stream the expanded reissue of Coliseum’s self-titled 2004 debut
Louisville’s Coliseum has grown into one of the most interesting, least compromising hardcore bands of the 21st century, whipping metal and post-hardcore into a seething stew. But the band’s self-titled 2004 debut has been out of print for years, an oversight now being corrected by Coliseum: Deluxe Reissue. The expanded, remixed, 10th-anniversary edition (streamed in full here) features the original album plus eight bonus tracks, including Coliseum’s half of its 2004 split single with Lords, a 2003 demo, and a previously unreleased cover of The Ramones’ “Judy Is A Punk.” Coliseum may have moved on to more complex sounds since its first album, but Coliseum sounds better, and hits harder, than ever.
Coliseum: Deluxe Reissue will be released August 19 via Deathwish Inc.
