Roger Ebert made it to his annual Overlooked FIlm Festival as planned, actively taking part in the festival's events and discussions, despite the handicap of a tracheotomy tube. Even more ballsy was his decision to show Beyond The Valley Of The Dolls, which he wrote the screenplay for. (Variety)
