Sufjan Stevens announces a very jubilant Christmas tour

It seems like just yesterday that rumors of a new Sufjan Stevens Christmas album were but a few sleigh bells' jingling in the distance. But before long, the great bringer of indie-folk cheer had announced that Silver And Gold: Songs For Christmas, Volumes 6-10 (featuring guests like the Dessner Brothers and Richard Reed Perry) would indeed be released Nov. 13. And now, Santa Stevens has deigned to place all of America under his mistletoe with the announcement of dates for his holiday tour. "The Surfjohn [sic] Stevens Christmas Sing-A-Long: Seasonal Affective Disorder Yuletide Pageant On Ice" kicks off on Black Friday, Nov. 23, in Philadelphia, A full tour schedule is below.
