Via Idolator comes news that will send thousands of aging former emo kids swooning: Sunny Day Real Estate is reuniting. This isn't too much of a surprise considering a) everyone's a-reunitin' these days, b) speculation had been brewing about this for months, and c) frontman Jeremy Enigk has broken up and reunited SDRE in the past. Still, dudes who used to rock Christie Front Drive T-shirts back in the day are psyched.
So far only two shows have been announced: Oct. 13 at The Fillmore in San Francisco, and Oct. 16 at the Paramount in their hometown of Seattle. Hopefully more will accompany some kind of official announcement.
