It might only barely be May, but Toronto-based rock act July Talk is really pushing the hot weather vibe. The group’s new video for “Summer Dress” premieres exclusively today on The A.V. Club, and is in support of the group’s forthcoming EP. While there’s absolutely no sunshine in the clip, it’s fairly sweaty, and July Talk frontman Peter Dreimanis has a voice so raspy that it definitely sounds like he could use an ice cream cone. Frontwoman Leah Fay brings a little air conditioning to the set with her icy style.
