Swedish hip-hop swing trio Movits! is certainly a singular force in music today. The group first made waves when it appeared on The Colbert Report back in 2009, and has since both topped the iTunes hip-hop charts and been nominated for Swedish Grammys. The group’s latest record, Head Amongst The Clouds, is out next Tuesday, and once again showcases the weird fusion of rap and jazz that really only Movits! can pull off. Below, A.V. Club listeners can get a first listen to “Woodstock,” which throws a little world music into the Movits! mix, to a reasonable degree of success.
