As with every Marvel Cinematic Universe property, Netflix’s new hit Jessica Jones is filled with references to the rest of the broader Marvel Multiverse. Mr. Sunday Movies has gone through the entire series and picked out every Easter egg and deep reference in the series and edited them all together into one video.
Didn’t realize that Jones’ BFF Trish is actually Hellcat? Now you do. Or that Angela Del Toro, another PI that Jones recommends, is really White Tiger? Now you do. But all this pales in comparison to the revelation that Will “Nuke” Simpson’s doctor is named Kozlov, as in Michael Kozlov, a Marvel Multiverse scientist best known for tricking a dragon named Grogg on to a Soviet space shuttle bound for Mars.
The level of Marvel scholarship that it takes to pick up on that is both impressive and a little frightening. Hats off to you, Mr. Movies, you have really outdone yourself.
