T.I. is in some really deep shit

In case you missed it, T.I. was nabbed just hours before BET's Hip-Hop Awards on Saturday for possessing three unregistered machine guns and two silencers, and for possession of firearms by a convicted felon. (He was convicted of drug distribution in June 1998 in Cobb County and has additional arrests and a probation violation for unlawfully possessing firearms.) During a brief court hearing yesterday, U.S. Magistrate Alan Baverman ordered T.I. (real name Clifford Harris) to remain in custody at least until Friday. Federal prosecutors want to keep Harris detained until his trial, which could be several months away. If convicted, T.I. will likely serve five or more years behind bars, according to the federal sentencing guidelines. Guess this makes it T.I.P. 1, T.I. 0.
