T.J. Miller is full of holiday spirits in the Office Christmas Party trailer

Never mind the fact that the air you’re breathing is mostly steam and the sidewalk outside your door is melting into a ribbon of dingy goo. It’s time to start thinking about Christmas—or about getting hammered and busting the joint up. Either way, the trailer for Office Christmas Party has you covered. T.J. Miller plays a corporate branch manager who enlists the help of his chief technical officer (Jason Bateman) to help him throw an off-the-hook holiday blowout in the hopes of impressing an important client and keeping his joyless CEO sister (Jennifer Aniston) from closing their dysfunctional office. That’s the plot, but the movie is really about giving a cast full of talented comedians like Kate McKinnon, Rob Cordry, Matt Walsh, Vanessa Bayer, and Jillian Bell the chance to stage flaming Christmas tree duels, sled down staircases, and completely destroy the entire floor of an office building.

Directed by Josh Gordon and Will Speck—the team behind 2007’s Blades Of Glory and 2010’s The Switch—from a script by Lee Eisenberg, Gene Stupnitsky, and Laura Solon, this looks like it has the potential to be a lot of fun. It certainly looks like the actors were enjoying themselves.

Office Christmas Party will be delivered to theaters this December.
