Taking Back Sunday, Dinosaur Jr., Built To Spill and others get Riot Fest aftershows
Riot Fest is coming to Chicago in September, and while seeing bands like Nine Inch Nails, Queens Of The Stone Age, and the reunited lineup of Jawbreaker during regular festival hours is great and all, it’s not quite as exciting as seeing some concerts that stretch a little further into the night. That’s what Riot Fest’s aftershows are for—though they’re technically called Late Night shows, because “Aftershow” is apparently a Lollapalooza thing—and now we know which bands will be depriving Chicagoans of some sleep this year.
The Late Night headliners for 2017 include The Ataris, Buzzcocks, New Found Glory, Cap’n Jazz, Dinosaur Jr., Built To Spill, Taking Back Sunday, and Chicago-area punk band The Orwells. The Late Night shows start on September 14 and go until September 17, and you can find more information at Riot Fest’s website.
The full list of bands can be seen in the poster below.
