It’s Black History Month here in the United States, and yesterday President Donald Trump kicked off this annual celebration of the many contributions people of African descent have made to this country by talking about his favorite topic—how CNN is mean to him. Okay, he talked a little bit about former Apprentice contestant Omarosa, too, and about Frederick Douglass, the great 19th-century abolitionist who we think Trump might think is still alive somewhere. In the “inner city,” probably. Because there’s no better way to mock our 45th president than to recite his own words back at him, A.V. Club Editors Katie Rife and Alex McCown-Levy do just that, for as long as they can possibly stand it.
