Radar Online passes on part of a letter Talking Heads drummer Chris Frantz wrote to The Nation, rebuking the magazine for implying that the triangle is a less-than-badass instrument. The cover of the magazine's December 4 issue shows Congressional Democrats celebrating their recent victory as a dopey-looking Senator Barack Obama plays a triangle near the back. Frantz's letter is subscriber-only content on The Nation's website, but Radar offers an excerpt from the letter that refers to the triangle as a "fantastic groove machine."
