After a pretty tepid response to her True Detective-esque “Style” video, Taylor Swift is gearing up to drop a “Bad Blood” music video starring all of her famous friends as elaborate noir characters. According to Swift, everyone chose their own names and persona for the video; Swift will play Catastrophe, which we choose to believe is a reference to the time Swift’s cat Olivia Benson jumped in a bathtub (the caption confirms our theory).
So who exactly will star alongside Swift? Well, just about everyone: Victoria’s Secret model Lily Aldridge as Frostbyte, Disney Channel star and clapback master Zendaya as Cut-Throat, Paramore’s Hayley Williams as The Crimson Curse, supermodel Gigi Hadid as Slay-Z, singer Ellie Goulding as Destructa X, actor Hailee Steinfeld as The Trinity, Girls creator Lena Dunham as Lucky Fiori, and rapper Kendrick Lamar as Welvin Da Great.
The supersized “Bad Blood” video will premiere on May 17. In the coming days, we can probably expect news that all four Kloss sisters, HAIM, Lorde, Gary Cole, both of Swift’s cats, you, your mom, and your best friend from middle school will also appear.
