Terry Crews offers fiery response to D.L. Hughley's comments about sexual assault

Back in August, comedian D.L. Hughley decided it was a good idea to comment on Terry Crews’ allegations that he had been sexually assaulted by a former WME agent named Adam Venit, saying that Crews should’ve physically stopped Venit from grabbing him because “god gave you muscles so you could say ‘no’ and mean it.” Unsurprisingly, it turns out that it was not a good idea for Hughley to comment on this story, as the video of the interview made it to Crews over the weekend and he completely dismantled Hughley’s argument, turned it back around on him, and then—for good measure—called out some other people who don’t properly grasp the seriousness of the situation. It all turned into a quick lesson for everyone about abuse.

Also, while we’re here, it doesn’t matter if someone is Terry Crews or not. It’s very shitty to tell them what they should’ve done in an abusive situation.
