Terry Crews to host Fox’s World’s Funniest Fails, will laugh at you for falling down
Terry Crews is a very big and very muscular muscle-filled man, and we would never consider judging him or the types of TV jobs he chooses to take. He could almost certainly squish us with little to no effort, and, frankly, we’d rather not give him an excuse to do that. With that in mind, we would like to report that Terry Crews has signed on to host Fox’s World’s Funniest Fails—a show that’s like America’s Funniest Home Videos without all of that pretension. This will be Crews’ second time hosting an unscripted show where people inadvertently reveal how dumb they are, since he’s also the current host of the surprisingly still-on-the-air Who Wants To Be A Millionaire.
In every episode of World’s Funniest Fails, Crews will present a series of “epic fail” videos to a panel of yet-unannounced celebrity judges, and they will then award one fail with the coveted “Fail Of The Week” award. If you think that concept sounds familiar—and also unnecessary, since YouTube already exists—please keep it to yourself, as we’re trying to stay on Mr. Crews’ good side here. World’s Funniest Fails will premiere on Fox on January 16, and we’re absolutely certain that everyone here will watch it. Right, everyone?
