Teti’s mom rates UnREAL above average, defecating air traveler scores lower
In the Mom On Pop podcast, Bonney Teti—mother of A.V. Club senior editor John Teti—shares her unfiltered thoughts on the pop culture of the day.
This week, Mom turns her critical eye toward UnREAL, the Lifetime original series that’s so much better than the words “Lifetime original series” might have led us to believe. That’s my take on it, at least—I love watching Rachel and Quinn carry out their evil ratings-boosting schemes—but Mom is less sure, as she’s disillusioned by UnREAL’s cynical portrayal of the people behind the reality TV curtain.
After the UnREAL chat, Mom gets back on the Facebook game beat for the first time since her Gameological days with a review of Guess The GIF. Plus, Mom weighs in on the latest Spider-Man casting and shares the story of the time she fought with a fellow airplane passenger over inconvenient bodily functions.
Mom On Pop is available on iTunes, and there’s a podcast RSS feed if you want to subscribe to the show in other apps. Never miss an episode!
