Mom returns today to talk about the reason for her months-long absence: a cancer diagnosis that came with a host of complications but ultimately turned out as well as anyone could have hoped.
After Mom recaps her recent trips in and out of the hospital, we discuss The Price Is Right, the game show we watched countless times when I was growing up. (I previously reviewed the Price episode that aired the day Mom went in for surgery.) Mom has high praise for host Drew Carey, but she doesn’t cotton to the show’s Twitter-enhanced “Socially Awesome Week.”
