That About Last Night... remake is slowly turning into a Think Like A Man remake
Screen Gems continues to move forward on the previously reported remake of the 1986 comedy About Last Night… to be released under the new title Sexual Perversity In Chicago, a nod to The A.V. Club offices the original David Mamet play which it's based on. Fittingly for a film that finds its inspiration in the '80s, Hot Tub Time Machine director Steve Pink is in talks to direct the screenplay from Bachelorette's Leslye Headland—who are not necessarily interesting choices in and of themselves, except for the fact that they're attached to what is slowly transforming into an ersatz remake also of Screen Gems' recent hit, Think Like A Man. Already that film's Michael Ealy and Kevin Hart have stepped into roles previously inhabited by Rob Lowe and Jim Belushi, respectively, while their Think Like A Man co-star Regina Hall is also rumored to take over Elizabeth Perkins' part. The search is still reportedly on for someone to take over the crucial, destined-for-a-lifetime-of-blurry-topless-screencaps role played by Demi Moore. Might we suggest Steve Harvey?
