That Conan O'Brien-produced, Pete Holmes-hosted talk show is really happening
While rumblings of a Pete Holmes-hosted, Conan O’Brien-produced talk show have been present in the comedy world for about six months, the actual program is really only coming to fruition now. TBS has ordered a four-week run of the You Made It Weird host’s new series to launch sometime this fall, in the slot immediately after Conan. The as-yet-untitled show will air four nights a week, combining sketches, live comedy, short films, field pieces, and in-studio guest chats—so get that patter sharp, YMIW regulars Kumail Nanjiani, Chelsea Peretti, and T.J. Miller. It will also probably feature tons of enthusiastic chat about religion, love, life, and divorce and will (hopefully, at least) not be three hours long.
