That new Modest Mouse record has a release date, streaming single

That new Modest Mouse record now has a name and a firm release date. Strangers To Ourselves will hit stores March 3, 2015, and—as the Instagram image from last week teased—features the group’s new single, “Lampshades On Fire.” That track is streaming now over on the website for The Current, Minnesota Public Radio’s hip indie station.

Strangers To Ourselves is Modest Mouse’s first new full-length since 2007’s We Were Dead Before The Ship Even Sank. So far, no new tour dates for the group have been announced.
