That Now You See Me sequel could have found its director
Having apparently completed work on the hastily assembled Jem And The Holograms, director Jon M. Chu is already locking down another project. Chu—who also directed G.I. Joe: Retaliation and three Step Up sequels—is reportedly the frontrunner to direct the previously announced sequel to Now You See Me, the Jesse Eisenberg/Woody Harrelson magician movie that somehow managed to gross more than $350 million worldwide last year. There’s no word on who, if anyone, from the original cast will return, but given that the film centered on the crafty slight-of-hand team The Four Horsemen, one would hope that at least one or two of them would pop up again.
Chu is also currently attached to direct G.I. Joe 3, which probably won’t star Channing Tatum, but probably will star Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson.
