That’s no moon—it’s a comparison of the sizes of vehicles in Star Wars

Ever wonder where Boba Fett’s Slave I ship stands in regards to size compared to other ships? If the answer is no, then you’re just weird and/or lying. If the answer is yes, then wonder no more, as this video compiles every vehicle from the original Star Wars trilogy (including the Special Editions) and lines them up according to size.

The video was made by Sploid and is based on the illustrations of Scott Park, an artist who’s drawn most every Star Wars vehicle (and whose drawings were used around this site for Star Wars Wars). It’s an interesting clip that fulfills nerdy impulses to gauge the relationships between these vehicles. From the organic steeds of Dewbacks and Rontos to the massive Death Stars that proved so vexing to the Rebel Alliance, this video covers it all with some darling graphics. Does bigger always equal better? And what of Boba Fett’s corvette—where does that stack up in all this? As always, questions abound.
