Director of Digital for The A.V. Club

The A.V. Club is searching for a Director of Digital. This person will be responsible for all digital products under the A.V. Club brand, primarily the website, but also mobile apps and sites and partner distributions (Hulu, YouTube, etc). This is a creative product role, not only a project management one, which will generate ideas and directions for our digital editorial, promotional, and advertising products. They will work with the A.V. Club Editors and Director of Project Management to scope and design approved projects, as well as to attend to the details of execution, polish, and brand. They will also work with the VP of Business Development on marketing ventures as well as all partnerships.

Responsibilities include

·      Digital product design: tactics & strategy

·      Oversight of digital projects

·      Competitive analysis

·      Product marketing (SEO, social media, product publicity coordination)

·      Analytics: analysis and business reporting

·      Creative advertising solutions

·      Editorial coordination, production oversight, and support

·      Ad Sales coordination, production oversight, and support

·      Partnership support
