The A.V. Club has been relatively supportive of The Album Leaf in the past, so it’s with reasonably great pleasure that we offer this premiere of a one-off new track from the group. “Never Held A Baby” is a collaboration between the leaves and Efterklang’s Peter Broderick and comes a few days before the new documentary about The Album Leaf’s Chinese tour screens at the Hollywood Forever Masonic Lodge. According to The Album Leaf’s Jimmy LaValle, the track came together after Broderick and the group collaborated on “Perils From The Sea” and was recorded in an afternoon.
