The Amy Winehouse Foundation wants your covers of Back To Black
The Amy Winehouse Foundation and Island Records have announced a new contest, inviting fans of the late singer-songwriter to submit covers of tracks from Winehouse’s massively successful album, Back To Black. The winner of the competition—as judged by Mark Ronson and Salaam Remi, who produced the 2006 hit—will get to record their song in the studio with the two producers.
Contest funds for the competition will be donated to the Foundation, which uses music therapy to help young people struggling with issues of depression and addiction. You can find details on the contest, including instrumentals and lyrics, here; the event runs through January 31, 2017.
