The CW’s Riverdale was among the many comic-book adaptations showing off the goods at San Diego Comic-Con this weekend. A sneak peek at season two was tagged on to this blooper reel, which will make you fall for Bughead all over again before stressing about Archie’s (K.J. Apa) future. As is so often the case with Riverdale, the lighthearted fare—including a backwards-talking Mädchen Amick—is followed by a darker development, as Jughead (Cole Sprouse) wonders if the attack on Fred Andrews (Luke Perry) wasn’t intentional.
Riverdale season two is currently in production, but there’s no word on the premiere date.
