The 19th season of The Bachelor comes to a close next Monday, March 9, but another dating reality show could just beat it at its own game. Funny Or Die’s new sketch The Bachelor With Dogs With Scott Eastwood parodies the popular series by replacing the bachelorettes with dogs competing to become the best man’s best friend. Bones replace roses in this spot-on parody, which mimics The Bachelor’s editing form and structure, though not quite with the same success as the hilarious web series Burning Love.
Still, these are some cute dogs. And a man searching for his best four-legged friend seems a lot less offensive than The Bachelor with humans. There’s at least way less drama. But there is surprise twist: a feline contestant.
