The Back-Up Plan Is Death
Zoe (Jennifer Lopez) seemed to have everything: great friends, a great career, a great apartment. But there was something missing. She could try and ignore it, but every time Zoe came home to a silent apartment and saw that bare space above the mantle where a family portrait should be, she felt the emptiness. What Zoe didn't have was the one thing that every woman secretly wants: the head of a generically good-looking male lead from some bland romantic comedy mounted on her wall.
Zoe knew how to get one though. The plan was foolproof: 1. Seduce a generically good-looking male lead from some bland romantic comedy. 2. Snap his head off post-coital, praying-mantis style. 3. Take the head to a reputable taxidermist. But generically good-looking male leads from some bland romantic comedy are difficult to find, let alone seduce, so Zoe had to get creative. It was time for The Back -Up Plan.
Zoe hid in the rafters of a photo studio where generically-good-looking male leads from some bland romantic comedy often go to shoot promotional stills. Within a few hours of taking her perch, Zoe saw Alex O'Loughlin walk in, ready for his photo session. When he stepped within reach, Zoe struck, descending from the ceiling, wrapping her hands around his head, and twisting. The generically good-looking male lead from some romantic comedy was dead before they hit the ground. The Back-Up Plan had been the best plan afterall.
Either that, or desperate Zoe (Jennifer Lopez) gets artificial insemination then she meets Mr. Right (Alex O'Loughlin), something something pregnancy and dating hijinks! OMG The Back-Up Plan.
