The Blood Brothers split

The Blood Brothers split

According to punknews.org, Seattle's post-hardcore heavy-hitters The Blood Brothers have broken up after ten years of massively influential releases and tours. The word came from friend and Three One G label head Justin Pearson of The Locust–who is in a new project called Head Wound City with The Brothers' Cody Votolato and Jordan Blilie–and was confirmed by a former tourmate of the band. The Blood Brothers got lumped in with a lot of the crappy screamo acts that sponged off their sound, but they remained great until the end–as evidenced by their swansong, last year's Guy Picciotto-produced Young Machetes.
