Desus & Mero (Showtime, 11 p.m.): It’s only been two months since their Showtime late-night show premiered, but The Bodega Boys are already expanding their burgeoning late-night empire. Starting tonight, Desus & Mero expands to two nights a week, airing every Monday in addition to Thursdays, for a special summer run. Along for the summer ride is a stacked guest lineup, with appearances from Lin-Manuel Miranda, Charlize Theron, Amy Poehler, Gabrielle Union, Spike Lee, Bill Hader, and Regina Hall. Tonight, they sit down with crossover rapper Lil Nas X to talk all things “Old Town Road.”

Chernobyl (HBO, 9 p.m.): HBO’s dramatization of the 1986 nuclear disaster debuts tonight, with Jared Harris, Stellan Skarsgård, and Emily Watson getting top billing. If the trailers are any indication, Chernobyl promises to be an unrelentingly grim look at one of the worst man-made disasters in history, focusing on the explosion’s aftermath, and how the culture of disinformation in the Soviet Union doomed thousands.
