The Boss comes to Netflix in this emotional trailer for Springsteen On Broadway

Early next month, Bruce Springsteen will bring his acclaimed Broadway show—aptly named Springsteen On Broadway—to an end, having done 236 performances since last October. Luckily, it will then become infinitely easier and cheaper to see Springsteen On Broadway immediately after his show comes to an end, because on December 16—the night after the final performance—Springsteen On Broadway will hit Netflix. Today, Netflix has released a trailer for the special, featuring Springsteen emotionally talking through some stories and strumming a few tunes. It looks like it should be some powerful stuff, especially if you have any kind of fondness for Springsteen or a complicated relationship with wherever you’re from.

Also, we don’t know if the TV Academy will consider this a TV special, but this could be Springsteen’s best shot at getting an EGOT.
