MTV's latest depressing, behind-the-scenes glimpse into the shallow realities of the music industry, Band In A Bubble—barely into its third episode—has already fallen on hard times. The show—which follows Atlanta emo band Cartel recording their album under the watchful eye of rock muse Dr. Pepper while living together in a giant geodesic tent—is already a ratings failure, and this weekend brought the news that recent downpours in New York have smashed the front window of the supposedly indestructible bubble. (Nobody was hurt.) Things may be turning around for Cartel, however, as this allhiphop.com article indicates that they'll soon be getting a producing leg-up from Wyclef Jean. Wait, what?
