The cast of Bunheads taped a sad, choreographed farewell to their show and fans

A good portion of the cast of Bunheads came together earlier this month to say goodbye to their long-maligned but much beloved ABC family show and to tape a danceable farewell message for fans. The result, available over on Buzzfeed's site, is nothing short of heartbreaking. While Sutton Foster, Kelly Bishop, and Emma Dumont weren’t able to make the taping, the remainder of the core cast turn it out to Elton John’s “Blues For Baby And Me.” Parts of the choreography (done by the show’s Marguerite Derricks, of course) even recall signature dances from the show, including Sasha’s “Istanbul (Not Constantinople).” The show’s creator, Amy Sherman-Palladino, directed the clip, which will tear open that Bunheads-shaped hole in your heart all over again. Farewell again, Bunheads. You are gone, but not forgotten.
