The CIA doesn’t know where Tupac is (or so it says)

Eighteen years after his death, Tupac Shakur is alive and well, albeit in hologram, biopic, beer commercial, and even Broadway musical form. But according to a whole bunch of people on YouTube, Pac never died at all—he faked his own death in order to avoid jail, attend the BET Awards, and of course, take Instagram pictures with Rihanna. The Internet’s second-favorite conspiracy theory (after the Illuminati, of course) has such legs, in fact, that the CIA was finally forced to address it on Twitter. As part of its celebration of one month on the social networking site, the CIA took a moment to address the top questions it gets from Twitter users, including this one:

Granted, this is the same CIA that dosed unsuspecting civilians with LSD, performed secret surveillance on the Black Panther, and allegedly helped train Osama Bin Laden to fight the Soviets in Afghanistan—so a jokey tweet is, if anything, an admission of guilt. In fact, the only way anyone can believe that the CIA doesn’t know where Tupac is hiding is if it was the CIA who killed him. It is based on the East Coast…
