In addition to that Roman “sandal drama” they’re working on, the Coen brothers are also in the process of pounding out some sort of musical comedy. Brothers Ethan and Joel told Vulture that, while the project isn’t “a musical per se,” it has “what might be considered more traditional musical numbers.” The only other bit of info the brothers dropped was that the project will be set in the world of opera, though whether it or the aforementioned “sandal drama” will see the light of day first is anyone’s guess.
