The complete Pitchfork 2017 lineup includes PJ Harvey and Thurston Moore
Pitchfork has just revealed the full lineup for this year’s festival, and thankfully, it didn’t involve watching paint dry. A press release announced the musical acts that’ll perform over a three-day weekend in Chicago this July, when the sun will be at its most punishing, but that’s okay because there are all kinds of frozen treats in the food tents these days. Solange, A Tribe Called Quest, and LCD Soundsystem were announced as the headliners were announced last month, and they’ll be joined by Vince Staples, Thurston Moore, PJ Harvey, Francis And The Lights, The Avalanches, NE-Hi, and Madlib. Tickets are on sale now, and you’ll find a breakdown of the lineup by day below.
Friday: LCD Soundsystem headlining; Dirty Projectors, Danny Brown, Thurston Moore, Vince Staples, Arca, Kamaiyah, Hiss Golden Messenger, Frankie Cosmos, William Tyler, Dawn Richard, Priests, and Madame Ghandi.
Saturday: A Tribe Called Quest headlining; PJ Harvey, Angel Olsen, The Feelies, George Clinton, Mitski, Madlib, Arab Strap, Survive, Francis and the Lights, Weyes Blood, Jeff Rosenstock, Cherry Glazerr, and Vagabon.
Sunday: Solange headlining; Nicolas Jaar, The Avalanches, Ride, American Football, Isaiah Rashad, Hamilton Leithauser, Pinegrove, Jamila Woods, Colin Stetson, Derrick Carter, Joey Purp, NE-HI, and Kilo Kish.
