The creators of Game Of Thrones are sorry for all the Hodor jokes
[Haven’t watched last week’s Game Of Thrones yet, and have somehow managed to avoid getting spoiled on what happened? Then click away, my innocent friend. Click away.]
HBO’s hit fantasy series Game Of Thrones takes place in a cruel and uncaring universe, so it would stand to reason that the creators of the show must be cruel and uncaring as well. But creators David Benioff and D.B. Weiss do feel bad about last week’s big death, albeit not because it made fans sad. Here, we’ll let them explain on last night’s Jimmy Kimmel Live!:
They’ve killed “739 main characters so far,” and they’ll kill you if you yell “Hodor!” at someone as you’re running towards the elevator. So watch your back, punsters, because you are definitely not the first person to think of that joke.
(PS: Sweet Mastodon shirt, Weiss.)
