The Critics Choice Awards like pretty much every movie this year, but especially Lincoln

Compared to the opinions of coastal elites and ivory-tower institutes, the Critics' Choice Awards attempts a more egalitarian, all-inclusive approach, much as Taster's Choice does for gourmet coffee. Not everyone needs to visit some fancy barista for the rich, satisfying flavor of a bold French roast, and not everyone needs to be in some arthouse favorite to get a nomination—particularly when the Broadcast Film Critics Association, the people in tiny fonts who brought you the word "STUNNING!" on commercials for Total Recall, have categories like "Best Actor In An Action Movie."

While it doesn't differ too greatly from previous awards with its emphasis on Lincoln and Silver Linings Playbook, this approach also means early honors for some films and people who might otherwise be left out until the People's Choice and MTV Movie Awards have their say, including nods for The Hobbit and Cloud Atlas (in effects categories), Christian Bale in The Dark Knight Rises and Robert Downey Jr. in The Avengers, a Best Supporting Actor consideration for Javier Bardem in Skyfall, Best Sci-Fi/Horror nominations for The Cabin In The Woods and Looper, and what promises to be the only time Channing Tatum gets anything this year, other than the many perks of being Channing Tatum.

Anyway, the complete list [via IndieWire], including its double nominations for Anne Hathaway (The Dark Knight Rises and Les Misérables) and Jennifer Lawrence (The Hunger Games and Silver Linings Playbook) is below. Perhaps those who have lamented ignored films such as Moonrise Kingdom may find some solace here, where everything is equal.
