The Crow reboot finally comes out of its room
Having spent the last four years or so locked in its room, presumably writing poetry by candlelight, The Crow reboot has finally emerged, much to the relief of its parents, who were getting really tired of having My Life With The Thrill Kill Kult thumping through the ceiling all the time. After a quick stop at Hot Topic to replace its old Nine Inch Nails shirt—long since faded to a totally conformist grey—the reboot made its way to the Abu Dhabi Film Festival, where producer Eli Pressman told The Hollywood Reporter that production on the film would hopefully begin “in the spring.”
“It still has a big fan base even though it was so long ago,” Pressman added. “But the generation today doesn’t even know The Crow.” Pressman refused to confirm reports that Dracula Untold’s Luke Evans will play the lead role, however, probably because Evans is really into Dave Matthews Band, and The Crow reboot isn’t sure it can get down with that.
