Once again demonstrating that they are totally down with the young ones, be they people or TV shows watched by those young people, The CW has picked up all of its freshmen series for full seasons. That means back-nine orders for its ironically titled Vampire Diaries spinoff The Originals, its show about teens with genetically evolved superpowers (but all too human feelings) The Tomorrow People, and Reign, the story of how Mary, Queen of Scots came to power while her handmaidens came tastefully off-screen. The CW also tried renewing One Tree Hill, only to be told that it ended more than a year ago. Then it was sad.
