The Daily Show is opening a Donald Trump Twitter library in New York City
Comedy Central announced today that The Daily Show is going to open The Donald J. Trump Presidential Twitter Library, which will be housed in a real, brick-and-mortar structure in New York. Trump isn’t all that into reading, so the concept of libraries probably isn’t very appealing to him. However, given that he loves both tweets and stuff with his name on it, this should provoke at least a mixed reaction.
According to a press release: “The exhibit will feature a fully interactive and hands-on experience for hands of all sizes, giving patrons the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to memorialize and celebrate the many ’unpresidented’ moments of President Trump’s Twitter history.” We assume there will be a special section devoted to his Hamilton tantrum, and another heralding the time he figured out how to do threaded tweets. The library will be unveiled in June, and close sometime shortly after that.
