The Daily Show pays last-minute tribute to Greg Giraldo

Word of comedian Greg Giraldo’s death arrived in the afternoon, right around the time The Daily Show was finishing taping for the day, but Jon Stewart and staff still managed to acknowledge their Comedy Central colleague’s death by transforming the customary “Moment of Zen” into a “Moment of Greg.” Before the clip, Stewart also offered a few personal words on Giraldo, echoing the sentiments of other stand-up vets like Louis C.K. in saying that Giraldo was a warm and funny guy who was always fun to run into.
