The director of I Kill Giants fell in love with its story before even picking up the graphic novel
Writer Joe Kelly and illustrator Ken Niimura’s graphic novel I Kill Giants, a sprawling adventure about loner kid Barbara Thorson, who retreats into a magical world to fight evil giants that may or may not all be in her head, is being adapted for the big screen. In the video above, director Anders Walter tells us how he fell in love with the story through the screenplay, before picking up the graphic novel.
RLJE Films’ I Kill Giants is in theaters and on demand Friday, March 23.
