The beautiful people who populate Mad Men tend to drink a lot – at the office, at home, in smoky bars, and basically anywhere else they happen to find themselves. But just how much does each character on the show drink? Fast Co. Design has put together a visual representation of the ultimate Mad Men drinking contest, measuring the total number and frequency of drinks for each character. Unsurprisingly, Don puts away the most single drinks over the course of the series (which explains why he takes more office naps than anyone else), but Roger is a relatively close second, and Pete an ever-more-depressed third.
The charts also show the amount of each type of booze the mad men put away. Whiskey comes away with a clear victory, so SCDP might have to step up vodka and martini consumption in season six just to level the playing field.
