The Dropkick Murphys have raised $65,000 so far for Boston Marathon bombing victims just by selling t-shirts
A lot of charitable people like the Dropkick Murphys. The band released a new t-shirt online last night, with all proceeds going to the victims of the Boston Marathon bombing. In just 15 hours, the band had sold $65,000 worth of shirts, including ones being sent to Ireland, the United Kingdom, and Australia.
The shirts retail for about $25 and feature pictures of both the Boston city skyline and city seal.
