The end is nigh—but the music's good—in the first trailer for Netflix's Umbrella Academy

The only thing that’s a bigger bummer than the end of the world is having to suffer through the apocalypse without a stylish soundtrack to accompany it. That’s something clearly grasped by Netflix’s new dysfunctional-family-who-also-happen-to-be-superheroes show The Umbrella Academy, which released its first trailer of world-ending cataclysm earlier today, ahead of its full first season dropping on February 15.

Accompanied by a kinetic cover of “Hazy Shade Of Winter,” the trailer for the new series shows off the whole fucked-up Hargreeves family, suffering from exactly the kinds of adult problems you might expect from kids adopted by a billionaire industrialist to be his own personal superhero team. Making things even worse is the fact that time traveling youngster The Boy (Aidan Gallagher) has caught a glimpse of the end of the world, and his siblings (including Ellen Page, as the apparently powerless Vanya) seem a little too distracted to help him stop it. Will they figure it out? Will Mary J. Blige shoot them all in the head? Will the soundtrack album hold up? We’ll know more in a couple of weeks.
