“The Evil Has Landed” in Queens Of The Stone Age’s thrashy new single

We’re two weeks out from the latest Queens Of The Stone Age album, Villains, the band’s follow-up to 2013’s …Like Clockwork. To build up hype for the new album, the band today released the second single off the album, the thrashy, scratchy “The Evil Has Landed,” which clocks in at a hefty six-and-a-half minutes. Produced by “Uptown Funk”’s Mark Ronson, it feels a little heavier, a little more interestingly ugly than the album’s first single, “The Way You Used To Do,” which arrived back in June.
