Difficult People (Hulu, 3:01 a.m.): God bless the good people at Hulu for providing a home to Difficult People, Julie Klausner and Billy Eichner’s laugh-out-loud funny portrayal of bitter and cynical New Yorkers who cast a jaundiced and judgmental eye toward everything save their own flailing attempts at fame. In a perfect world, this series would be dominating the comedy writing Emmys right alongside Veep—and with any luck, booting Modern Family out of there at the same time. But in the meantime, as Caroline Siede noted last year, it’s basically the perfect show for A.V. Club pop-culture obsessives like ourselves, so enjoy this 90-minute third-season premiere.

The Therapist (Viceland, 10:30 p.m.): It’s not that we’re necessarily thrilled by this sit-down interview series, where people engage in a full-length therapy session with Los Angeles-based shrink Dr. Siri Sat Nam Singh. But this episode’s guest is Chief Keef, which sounds just delightful.
